SLC Appoints Gavin Targonski as Head of Go-To-Market Strategy for EMEA
New York, NY – July 2 – SLC, a pioneer startup in SIM-based identity verification and fraud prevention, has announced the appointment of Gavin Targonski as Head of Go-To-Market Strategy for EMEA. Gavin joins at a pivotal time as SLC expands its international footprint and deepens engagements with financial institutions and security-focused platforms through its sandbox program.
Gavin Targonski brings over 15 years of experience across integration, data, and information management, with a foundation in financial services and mobile banking solutions. As early as 2001, he played a leading role in building high-volume, “zero-trust” banking platforms based on open-source technologies like Apache and Linux—solutions that helped shape the foundation of secure digital transactions globally.
Throughout his career, Gavin has balanced client-side leadership roles at institutions such as Banco Santander, British American Tobacco, and Centrica Energy, with consulting leadership at global systems integrators including CSC, Cognizant, and Wipro, where he most recently served as Global Partner within IBM’s Data Management practice. He also brings product and commercial experience from roles at SAP, Talend, and analytics startup Incorta.
In his new role as Head of EMEA Go-To-Market, Gavin will lead regional strategy across the entire product lifecycle—from conceptual definition and strategic client engagements to fully managed services in the security, AI, and data intelligence space. His mission is to deliver differentiated, silicon-level security offerings that challenge the status quo and help clients stand out in a saturated digital landscape.
“Gavin’s deep technical pedigree, combined with his commercial instinct and global experience, make him uniquely suited to lead our EMEA go-to-market efforts,” said Travis McGregor, CEO of SLC. “He brings the rare ability to bridge strategic vision with technical depth, and we’re thrilled to welcome him as a partner.”
Gavin’s appointment underscores SLC’s growing momentum as it works with banks and enterprises to combat rising threats such as SIM swap fraud, OTP interception, and device spoofing. Through its secure, out-of-band eSIM infrastructure, SLC is creating a new layer of hardware-based identity verification—offering enterprises a future-proof alternative to legacy app- and cloud-based solutions.
